Seventh-chord inversions and bass function

The lowest tone of a seventh chord now becomes the central listening cue: root, third, fifth or seventh in the bass. First you compare neighbouring bass functions, then identify chord quality and inversion together. Major, dominant, minor and half-diminished seventh chords are used. The fully diminished seventh chord remains excluded because its four inversions are symmetrical in equal temperament and ambiguous without tonal context.

Guideline per section: at least 4 of 5 answers. Direct repetitions of the same solution are avoided; a section below the mark is repeated with new roots and card layout.
